WOOHOO!

The Console That I had To Control Was AWESOME

Me Doing My Job.. I love it.. :)

Reflection

The skills i gained in this production were enormous, for example, my communication skills were improved in this as we had to communicate delicately to make the show a success, I took a huge risk doing this as in 3 days I memorised and learnt all my cues for the play without any past experience in this area of the theatre, I also developed my collaborative skills as Eddy and I had to communicate using headsets giving each other cues and helping out when needed, I increase my awareness in my strengths as I never knew it in me that I was capable of doing such a activity which not only did i enjoy but also succeeded in, also I gained a lot of trust in my colleagues for this play as they did there part and did a fantastic job, while my job reflected of there amazing performance.
The outcomes achieved in this CAS activity were:

  • Developed New Skills.
  • Show Perseverance and Commitment In Their Activities.
  • Undertake New Challenges.
  • Increase Their Awareness Of Their Own Strengths and Areas For Growth.
  • Worked Collaboratively with others.
  • Engage with issues of global importance.

NONGOGO

Please forgive me as for some reason I was not allowed to use Nongogo in my URL, therefore it is VIX. Nongogo is a South African play that was a acted out by, Shirley, Gale, Amar, Karan and TJ. It was directed by Ms.Rolle and Mr.Thompson, and I took part in it by being the light manager, I decided to this as the opportunity approached me by Eddy and I took it into consideration because it is a new experience for me, I have never been in the seat of the light manager and i have gained a lot from it. I hope to see other plays in the future with me in them.
